Candle Care & Safety

Wooden wicks burn differently than cotton; here are some simple
tips to ensure the best experience:
Before each use, trim your wick to 1/8” – 3/16” inch (5 mm) and cut off the excess ash at the top of the wick. This will prevent soot build up and give you the cleanest burn - A wick trimmer allows for an easy and clean cut.
Light the wooden wick at one end and allow the flame to flow naturally across the wick
We recommend creating a "melt pool" the first time you burn your candle, which may take up to 1 or 2 hours depending on the candle. To do this, let the wax melt completely to the edges of the container. This will prevent tunneling or uneven wax melt.
Keep wax pool free of debris and wood wick trimmings.
Burn within sight in a well ventilated room on a level, heat resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets and flammable objects.
Never burn for more than 4 hours.
